Sound Healing

Sound Healing has been around for thousands of years. Before we are even born we respond to sound. One of our last senses to go at the end of life is sound. It is used in the medical field for diagnostics and is one of the most rapid reviving complimentary therapies of the day. So many people are now offering Sound Healing and Sound Baths. Many are unqualified to do so. Sound is a powerful therapy. If untrained you can make someone feel quite unwell, ungrounded and even disorientated. Please choose your sound healing practitioner with caution.

Once I knew that I wanted to study Sound Therapy I wanted to train with the best there is. I am blessed to have studied with the amazing Carmel Diviney of The Celtic School of Sound Healing. Carmel is a Master in her field. She has trained some of Irelands finest Sound Therapists and has trained with Gong Master Don Conreaux. She is a founding member of AOSTI who strive to professionalise Sound Healing and all that comes with it. I am honoured to be a delegate member of the AOSTI committee and excited to help all involved professionalise such a beautiful, important and therapeutic modality.

Using tones such as Sacred Solfeggio sounds to wash over you, while you relax, can be a powerful experience. Drum Journeys, Koshi & Zaphir chimes, The Gong, Crystal Bowls & Tuning Forks all hold their place in healing amongst many other tools.

I offer one to one appointments & can add sound to any other modality. I also facilitate Celtic Guided Meditation & Sound Healing classes locally. Midweek Melodies is on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of every month. We meet in De La Salle Pastoral Centre, Wicklow Town at 7.30pm. Booking is essential to reserve your space.
